The head of the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency, Travis Tygart, participated in the call and detailed that Mayweather and Mosley will be subject to random urine and/or blood tests from now "until and after the fight." A positive test, Tygart said, would leave the boxer suspended from the sport for two years, a condition he said both fighters have agreed to.

If I were caught using illegal substances, I'd probably never come back even if it was only a 2 year ban. I'd be way to embarrassed! Especially, if it were Mayweather that got caught! lol... Could you imagine the man trying to clean up the sport getting caught dirty?

I wouldn't doubt there are things on the market that the present tests don't pick up. It is an arms race anytime money is involved.

They are following WADA code penalities. This shows the seriousness of it all and shits on the NSAC in the process.

I bet there are several boxers right now that don't want this to become the norm. The question isn't if boxers are taking something, but how many.

Did you mean how Manny:p lolol. J/k. But yea i agree, not just boxers though. I'm sure there are several ppl in the sport behind the scenes other than cornermen and trainers, like promoters who would hate to see this being the normal routine as well.

Somebody somewhere is like Damn Mayweather & Mosley for bringing this **** further to light lol.

The tests should be mandatory for all fighters.

Yes, but who pays? As stated, this will cost more than some fighters make as a purse.

only people who are against it are people that hate the mayweathers. According to them the only reason this ever came up is b/c of floyd sr. they refuse to admit that it's not a bad move at all and there is nothing wrong with wanting more stringent testing.....they just dont like that all the steroid talk started with floyd sr, simple as that. I would like to see one good argument as to why this steroid testing is bad thing for the sport?
