The post you responded to was just Zakman hating on Taylor "the long way." He's been at it for years.

hindsight being 20/20...pacquiao just wasn't a good fighter and his opponents were all shot and old.

Yeah but lacey never beat ****! the other guys beat some quality going into those fights. what i am saying people should have realized that lacey made his name on a house of sand. the other guys at least had a claim at being quality foes. I was never was on the lacey hype train and remembering thinking sat the time: " if he was any good why is he fighting in this weak ass division and not in the legit weights of MW or LHW?" . . . my how times have changed!

styles make fights. But some fighters are product of hype... Jeff lacy was hype. He never beat any top tier fighter and he fought in a dog **** division. Pavlik came in through back door. He worked his way up with no hype, he justed kicked ass. Pavlik lost his hunger and dedication. **** happens. Especially with punchers who start to rely on the big shot rather than improve other parts of their game.

    110% agree
this is what the OP is complaining about...
Its funny how a loser is instantly thrown under the bus as if someone lost 10k on that fighter...
