    This is so true.

I'd have to think some more about 20...it kills me to leave Marvin Johnson out, as he was such a heart-chosen favorite of mine back in the day.

Come on, pop out a list to help a threat starting brother out. Totally agree Tiger deserves to be well up there.

Good stuff, yourself HDmex. What have you got lined up for us next? Your approach and willingness to learn what other people think is clearly getting a fair bit of traction and is a refreshing change from 'who hit the hardest' which is getting to the point where it needs its own forum.

And even that makes a change from 'would anyone from the 20s beat anyone from the 90s?'.

Keep on keepin' on, mate. Lovin' your work.

Thanks, I very much appreciate it. There is this site that I like hanging out in just due to the fact that there is some people who know what they are talking about (in my experience) and have both a sport and competition appreciation to Boxing but a historical and cultural appreciation as well. Boxing is such a good reflection on how the world is tbh, not many people realize it when everything is so narrow minded.

And I agree, I feel that interaction also plays a factor in regards to posts, I think there are some contrarian posters out there who are looking for a rise or a click, but the relatability and deep thinking is just left at surface level.

That's why when I wanted to make this survey into a potential media project, I wanted my first question or ranking to be subjective and personable, because what people deem as "great" and who is "great" is ultimately subjective, there can be agreeing on some points, but others we vary, and I think that is important, because based on one's own background and history, it would make since why their "list" or "favs" are the way they are, and that's interesting to me for that reason.

Boxing is great, and the great thing about is the fact that there can be room for deeper discussion if possible, more than just 20s vs 90s, or who was the HARDEST hitter, type thing.

I guess, can call myself an expert or historian on the matter being that I have been apart of this sport since I was 6 and been around with the best of them and saw and trained for hundreds of bouts and tournaments. I don't like saying it too much cause it seems like a "delusion of grandeur thing" but boxing seems to be what makes sense in my head the most where I can confidently say that I know what I am talking about most of the time. But, I am not perfect, and there is always room to learn more. And why not learn more about what I enjoy? Boxing is worth it. And if I can help others do the same with the knowledge and experience I can bring, sure, I'll do it. :)

Ohh, and up next is that I am working on this Southpaw survey, another greatest boxing robbery video where I score the bouts myself and determine if it was truly "robbery" or not, in my other frequented site (Tapology) I asked people's favorite fighters and wanted to learn from others who people should be following. I got a couple irons in the fire, and it isn't just filled with blacksmithing metaphors either. :p Thanks.

honestly if this survey could be put in the pinned section, that would be cool. The more eyes and submissions will make for greater results.
