When talking p4p lists, a key ingredient is inevitably the resume of the fighters being discussed.

So who had the best resumes?

Let's see if someone can nut out a top 20, or at the very least, suggest a handful (with evidence i.e. list the fighters they beat) that are monties for the top spots.

    Great effort Brooklyn. :good

That's definitely a good launch pad for the topic. I think just about everyone there will make my final cut.

Will add some nominations myself a bit later.

    ...........Arguello's a good pick.

    Olivares
    Escalera X2
    Chacon
    Boza-Edwards
    Navarette
    Limon
    Watt
    Mancini

..........Along with a host of others some might include that are a bit more peripheral, like Claude Noel or Kobayahi, still good fighters, but not real standouts.

Good shout. You can add Ramirez (though it was a questionable decision), Castillo and Fernandez to that list.:good

Here's some more that deserve a shout:

Lou Ambers: Cocoa Kid, Johnny Jadick, Sammy Fuller, Fritzie Zivic, Frankie Klick, Baby Arizmendi, Tony Canzoneri, Davey Day, Tony Canzoneri, Pedro Montanez, Henry Armstrong (though it was a robbery)

Fritzie Zivic: Henry Armstrong, Jake Lamotta, Charley Burley, Sammy Angott, Eddie Booker, Kid Azteca, Al Bummy Davis, Chuck Woods, Johnny Jadick, and arguably Billy Conn

Sammy Angott: Ike Williams, Bob Montgomery, Willie Pep, Petey Sarron Wes Ramey, Leo Rodak, Freddie Miller, Davey Day, Lew Jenkins, Slugger White, Johnny Bratton

    Probably not.

But I think Greb and Canzoneri are up there with him, and some guys like Jimmy McLarnin, Kid Gavilan, Sam Langford are right there as well...

Yeah, Greb is definately right there with Ezzard. Canzeroni was outstanding too but just a shade below these 2.

    Oh, I agree.

I just can't overlook Ezzard's total domination of Archie Moore and especially Charlie Burley.

Good call mate. Rodriguez had a very good resume, with a win over Thompson as well.
