Yeah beating the shot Brewster who was coming off a loss and legally blind in one eye really avenged that defeat.
Wlad would easily beat at least half of these guys. But I think Ali, Foreman, Louis, Holmes and Tyson all beat him. Plus his brother who he'd naturally never fight.
IMO wlad beats 75% of the list and would be a tough fight for all of them. Im not saying he beats all of them but it wouldnt be as easy for the guys on the list as many say or think....all the posts of "wlad would be KO'd in 1 or 2" are bull****
I agree with you. I don't see him beating at least Ali, Foreman, Louis, Holmes and Tyson. And the nasty, peak version of Tyson might have finished Wlad inside a couple of rounds.
I do not get the lighter many past fighters would do so good today by many posters as it is written in stone. Your reaching out for your fighter, is ok. But your head2head thoughts are wrong. I will go out on a limb and say that Ali today even in his prime would not hold any belt. This bull**** about prime for prime **** is just to inflate fans and posters ego's. Ali is a great by the way. Not in today's market thought! Before all the bull**** comes in about my post..............think.....think......think......Don't just shoot of your mouth with a reply.
Muhammad Ali, Only the great Doug Jones & Henry Cooper had a chance against that killer. Ali by KO round 1!!! George Foreman, blinding slug-like quickness, only Jimmy Young had the superpower's to out box that fighting god! Joe Louis, went 1-1 vs the Nazi. ****!!! I give up!!! The TS is just stupid!:verysad
Just as much as Lennox "avenged" his KO defeat by beating a drug-withdrawing, nervous breakdown-ing crybaby Ollie McCall, anyway.
I think Tyson & Foreman potentially could so. Actually I'd pick Tyson to KO Wlad within 4 rounds. Dempsey could, potentially as well although I'd favor Wlad against Dempsey.
Only a few months ago many would have put Haye on that list Boxing is not always a predictable sport. You could get the most knowledgable and experienced trainers together to pick each of these fights and if they happened it would never pan out the way you expect. Upsets happen at all levels in boxing, freak punches land, injuries occur and dodgy scorecards are seen. It's fair to say the OP is reaching with some of those picks though. Micheal Moorer? David Tua?
20 hw's who'd beat prime wlad? First prime wlad needs defining because we've seen two different wlad's during his prime: the aggressive wlad from 00-05 and the defensive wlad from 05-present. I believe the second wlad is much better so it is him who I shall use. Louis Ali Tyson Frazier Liston Foreman Dempsey Them 7 i'd certainly favour. Lewis and holmes are 50/50. Brewster, ofcourse, did beat prime wlad. After that I hit a brick wall. Wlad beats, imo: Johnson Rocky Holyfield Sullivan Jeffries Langford Jackson Charles Walcott Tunney Corbett Wills Patterson Fitzsimmons Jeanette Mcvey Vitali Bowe Norton Schmelling Bivins Moore Baer Sharkey Ingo Douglas Rahman Spinks Byrd Moorer Braddock Willard So out of every hw, who's been number 1 at some point by my estimation, I have wlad going 32-7-2. Plus an honourable mention for brewster, who did beat the great version of wlad.
