Bruno has a longer reach than Wlad.

Not saying he'd necessarily beat him but he'd have at least as good a chance as some of those on the list and a better chance than 90 odd percent of Wlad's resume.

I agree,I have always had Bruno giving Wlad a very hard fight for me its a 50 50 fight.

I dont think any version of Wlad would last more than 5 rounds against Rooney trained Tyson.

There's this huge myth people 100 years ago somehow had superhuman power and could punch through brick walls even though they weighted only 190lbs, had **** training conditions and horrible diets.

Why is boxing the only sports where athletes from 50 or 100 years ago would school modern era competitions? Would a 1970s Arthur Ashe whip today's Roger Federer in tennis? What about the 1930s Jesse Owen in 100m content vs. Olypmic gold sprinter Ursain Bolt? Who'd win?

And if I were you I would included Chris Byrd because he bested a lot of the guys on your list, so he would clearly knockout Wladimir too!

Well for a start maybe you should look at the tools of the trade. Give Fed a wooden racket and have him play on the surfaces that AA played on instead of his carbon fibre racket and synthetic strings and rebound ace court, or have Bolt run on a cinder track with no starting blocks etc.
Boxing has fundamentally remained the same, techniques and skills from yesterday are still effective today, the lack of equipment used in boxing has meant that there have been few technological advances made or required. If training methods have improved so much why are top boxers unable to fight more frequently, why do they suffer so many long term injuries? Why do so few cope with 12 rounds when boxers historically have coped comfortably with 15?
