Well there goes my ‘what is your boxer’s name?’ try.

Seriously, cool game (and not just because I got it right). Like a quiz show.

(Where is Dr Joyce Brothers when you need her?)

Q1: Was your boxer a recognized champion by any of the ‘big four’ sanctioning bodies in more than one division?

(Which is to say, for clarity, among WBA, WBC, IBF and WBO champions, did he hold title belts in more than one division at some point in his career — multi-weight class champ or not? If he’s before the alphabet soup era, I’d say lineal + NYSCAC + NBA and anyone generally recognized as a champ would count.)

FWIW, once you said not Mexican I almost crossed Sugar off, then it hit me — duh, he was Cuban even though he fought out of Mexico. Plus he was in one the lower Original Eight divisions so I zeroed in him.

This is fun. I hope you keep it up!

I have to head out but I'll be back either later today or tomorrow. I'll answer any questions made when I get back.

Was your fighter’s championship at welter or above or below welter? (So welter-heavy or junior welter-fly.)

    Question 4/20

I would say yes my boxer is known for a specific attribute but keep in mind that is a subjective question.

    2. My boxer was a single division world champion under one of the four major governing bodies
    3. My boxer was a champion at welterweight or above.
    4. My boxer is known for a specific attribute.

Did your boxer fought in the rated era? (Meaning 1924-XXXX onwards?)
