From around 1.40-2.00, the elevated angle of the camera shows just how fast Frazier's pressure is. He is never far out of punching range. He sincerely reminds me of Hopkins or Marquez purely in terms of his undertstanding/control of the range. He keeps this up for the entire FOTC. He's a monster. I'm throwing this up because questions have been raised on the board concerning how good Joe was. At his best, he was nigh untouchable IMHO.

The rest of the video is excellent if you fancy it,but the key section is 1.40-2.00.

Good catch. Frazier's movement and ability to cut off the ring gets criminally underrated at times.

Sure thing McGrain. :) I'm up to three now, considering doing a fourth on JC Chavez, but that one may have to wait a bit. Anyway, I'm keeping most of my work on DailyMotion these days, youtube is giving me a hassle about music every time I try to put something up.

    Here's everything so far:

    Muhammad Ali tribute

    Mama Said Knock You Out

Boxing's Naturals (Sorry for the **** quality, didn't have the original file anymore so I couldn't get it come out Better after re-uploading it).

Nice efforts. I still like Naturals best of all, I really enjoyed that. Lot's of great stuff on Daily Motion, generally higher quality IMO.

You seen The Great AA's HW videos? They are magic.

I did, and thanks for posting them. It's really great seeing a lot of time and attention being paid in the tributes to some guys that tend to get missed or don't tend to get full highlights made of them. Can't imagine the effort that went into that, really tremendous works.

I love the switch from Holmes opening up on Ali to Ali opening up on Liston.

All those guys were standing in front of him he did not have to cut off the ring or chase them down Quarry fought a stupid fight as he said himself, and Mathis took shots for 11 rds before finally dropping.Ramos quit,Ellis was retired on his stool,Chuvalo was stopped on his feet.

I have the 3 fights thanks,in FOTC Ali went to the ropes he did not have the ring cut off on him ,the reason was he had formed the habit in training as he did not trust his legs. Not trying to knock Joe but those clips showed men meeting him in punchouts ,not a good idea ,unless you are A, a better puncher and B, have faster hands.Quarry was competitve ,despite using the wrong strategy ,whereas Ali made Quarry look like a sparring partner

But there's footage, in the above video that shows exactly that. I've even highlighted the appropriate passage.

Is Frazier left handed or was it has 1 eyed blindness that made him so good with the left? When did he go blind

No, the blindness is uncconected and he was right handed. His pa only had one arm, the right, and Frazier described himself as "papa's left arm" when he was a wee boy, but I don't think that is relevant.

    Just one of those things.

"nigh untouchable". I think you're trying to convince yourself with that one.

Frazier remains one of the most underated fighters ever ... a joke as he was exceptional and should not only be mentioned as an all time great heavyweight but a pound for pound great as well ...
