It's more than that - it's poetry in motion, were it not for the horrific outcome it would be one of the greatest moments in the history of sport for me. Everything about it is just perfect, getting punched to a standstill, the spit on the floor, the way Eubank beckons him on then the punch that just comes out of nowhere. For me it goes beyond sport and into something genuinely artistic, the whole passage moves me deeply in a way I find difficult to explain.
It was picture-perfect in execution as well with the perfect arc he got on the punch, considering how exhausted and battered he must've been after 11 rounds at fast pace and high tempo where he took countless short stiff punches each minute, it's hard to understand how he managed to pull the punch off with such immense power bang on the point of the chin while walking in casually!? Having just got up from the first legit KD of his life, to boot!!
