I was playing Knockout Kings 2001 (Popular series of boxing games in the early 00s..if that wasn't obvious...lol) and I thought of this match up.

Now I'm sure we're all aware both these men fell victim to the intelligence of Lennox Lewis (Tua in 2001 and Grant a year earlier)

But let's say they faced off.

    Who'd take the win?

Grant couldn't hurt Tua and he ain't no Lennox Lewis. He wasn't a Chris Byrd type either.

    Ah, I miss those games.

But Tua takes Grant in the middle rounds if he can land that left flush. Michael may tower over Tua, but he didn't really fight "tall."

    Yeah..
Tua KO 8 if he(Grant) can manage to keep his range until that point

Tua was so damn short for a heavy maybe 5-9 on a good day, he would have a hard time catching Grant who was almost a foot taller, Grant on the other hand didn't have a reliable chin either, so don't bet on it either way...

Tua was strong, he could take some leather, he had good endurance, but skill wise he was extremely limited, had no jab, little speed, was predictable, and had very modest boxing ability..

I think Grant wins a close decision in a forgettable fight...

It could go either way. Grant, at his best, was better than he gets remembered for.

Tua either by KO1 or by TKO 9-10.
Grant couldn't take good punches as was shown against Golota, Lewis and mcCline.

Grant was slow starter and was dropped in 1st rd many times.
Can't see Grant winning this fight.
