Hopkins scores early with boxing skills and takes the early rounds, but Hagler will find his groove, up it to full speed, and systematically wear X down. Hagler's own skillset and physical roughness ultimately prove too much for Hopkins. Mid to late rounds stoppage win for MMH.

Hagler destroys Hopkins. Bernard withers and collapses under the pace Marvin sets. Not even close.

Hagler tears his head off sometime around the 8th round.

very interesting fight, never seen hopkins gassed, if he can disrupt the pressure a little he has a chance to send it to the cards.

*Not even close... Bernard would try to headbutt..only to be headbutted back... Hopkins would soon find himself in the ring with someone willing to fight just as dirty as he does... and a legitimate middlewt... Hagler kills Hopkins in 10 rounds.

Both fighters with an excellent skillset, toughness and conditioning. I see a competitive decision in Haglers favour. Hopkins would try to battle on the inside only to find he's second best on this particular night. This coupled with Hagler excellent southpaw jab, is what gives Hagler the decision.
