I see this fight pretty much as Taylor Pavlik I. It would be very competitive, but Tito catches him with one of those classic left hooks, and that starts the beginning of the end. Tito KO 10.

P.S. I know Tito's power wasn't better than KP's at 160, but I think he most certainly has enough power to KO JT.

if Taylor choses to outbang Tito, most likely he'll get put to sleep.....but Taylor has a jab that could defiantly give Tito more then enough trouble

so i can see either outcome happening, Tito putting him away in 6, or Taylor taking him to a close decision

but i'd favor Tito even in the close decision, because Taylor cant box a pressure fighter for 3 minutes straight, for whatever reason he choses to abandon his jab and square up from time to time as he did in Pavlik and even the Lacy fight, and he doesn't have the power or the chin to outbang Tito

he's no pureboxer Ala Winky Wright

I would lean towards Jermain I just think he would put up a boxing class on Trinidad but I wouldnt be surprised if he was dropped atleast once during the fight. That jab would control the fight and the pace, Titos workrate wasnt as good as Pavliks.

Agreed, but Pavlik's hand speed and accuracy weren't as good as Tito's.

I think its a tough call...Id be inclined to side with Tito actually.

Jermain is athletically impressive and has a very good jab...but there are questions over his durability, certainly his stamina and I actually dont think he is that skilled a boxer. He realies a lot more on his athleticism and size then his pure boxing skill which I find no better then above average often just average at times.

I think he also can make some poor tactical choices and this could spell trouble for him against Tito. He adjusted far better in the rematches with Pavlik and Hopkins, the results showed this, but he made a lot of mistakes in the first fights of these respective clashes.

Id side with Tito to knock him out aswell, probably whilst slightly down on points...with a rematch, if there was one, to be a 50-50 call.

With ILLEGAL handrwaps i say he stands a very good chance.

Without, I see a masterfull boxer like Winky or B-Hop Schooling him.

Hmm, excellent question. Either guy can beat the other.... Taylor with the mentality and maturity he showed against Lacy would beat Trinidad, I believe. However, at 160lbs he never really showed a combination of mental maturity, experience, and athleticism. Whereas the Trinidad of the Joppy fights was well experienced, and knew how to close the show. I think I would have to side with Trinidad here. One of the reasons being what's already been pointed out, Taylor was inconsistent at 160lbs and could never stick to what works (jabbing, etc.).

So, Trinidad by either knockout or decision.

Taylor by KO. Jermaine was a big MW and Tito was a blown up WW. Jermaine's faster, and stronger and was technically flawed at 160 but still beat's Trinidad.
