I love you Foreman Hook.
I give Holmes a UD in this one.

 

In 2002 I'd have said that Tyson was 14 years past his best,never mind 6. Holmes at this point,would have had much more left than Tyson. And he'd beat Tyson over the distance. Quite comfortably.

 

Holmes via whitewash UD, Tyson was beyond shot & had no stamina.

Holmes wasn't as rusty as people think, he had two 12 round exhibition fights during his 3 months of preparation time.

Tyson was at least 12 years past his real prime and Holmes wasn't really that far past it in 1988. True, Holmes had been inactive for 2 years but he was MUCH closer to his actual prime than Tyson was in 2002. '88 Holmes by UTTER HUMILIATION.

I'll just address the statement in a vacuum...If Morrison couldn't KO Big George(please watch the fight again to see what I mean) than how is '02 Tyson going to do it?

 

Holmes probably.
It's hard to say because he showed nothing much in those 4 rounds against Tyson.
2002 Tyson would be a lot easier to hit and avoid though. He was at his sharpest in '88.

Holmes was a dead man walking in '88, Tyson was a dead man walking in '02.

 

Holmes's exhibitions were often less serious than sparring sessions, and even if they were hard exhibitions (which i highly doubt) the only real way to shake of rustiness is to have real fights. No amount of sparring will do as much good as a real fight.

 

Teh Foreman Hook is such teh dumb****. He has no knowledge of teh the sport of Boxing.

 

holmes by late tko or ud, even in the 90s holmes played with ray mercer, tyson was a joke in 2002, holmes any day.

 

no version of tyson would beat george foreman, not 86 tyson,96 tyson or 3006 tyson.
styles make fights and foreman would ko tyson ALWAYS. the tyson´s fan boys can talk what they want. tyson avoided old foreman, and cus damato knew that the style of mike or any short puncher was a suicide against george foreman. so george would kick his ass.
