He almost lost to an even older and inactive Klitschko

A Klitschko who was in perfect shape, while Lewis clearly was not. I won´t totally buy that this guy was way worse than 03 Lewis. But I think that version of Lewis would show better against prime Fury than that snorefest from Wlad. It was indeed Lewis who said right after the bout that Wlad behind on points had to turn this into a dog fight to win. I agree with Lennox and believe it was unprofessional to snorebox him into a loss after round 7/8.

No , disingenuous is comparing Kirk Johnson to Andy Ruiz. Thats is simply a sickening comparison and i don't even need to explain why.

Also Johnson was 35 (not old) when a green Joshua of only 13 fights and within two years of turning pro obliterated him. After that blow out loss Kingpin took mant top guy the distance - Andy Ruiz , Gorman , Pulev , Dubois , Hrgovic. . He just recently knocked out Yoan Pablo Hernandaez..

Vitali was still seen as unbeatable in the division even up to 41 years of age. He was far more experienced and closer to his prime than Joshua was. Yet he looked like a complete buffoon against Johnson. The tape doesn't lie and i know for a fact you did not watch it back for fear your illusion's of this man would be shattered before your very eyes

And no , you didn't win any argument. You made a claim and utterly failed to back it up when it was challenged. You don't really understand this sport if you believe Vitali was a better boxer than Joshua.

    More disingenuous crap.

Joshua fought Takam on a weeks notice and won almost every round. . This deserves criticism from you , but Vitali LOSING against Byrd on a weeks notice is OK???.. You're a joke and one of the biggest K2 ball lickers this site has ever seen.

Vitali DID lose to an old , inactive and lethargic version of Lewis..But in your world Vitali gets credit for losing while Joshua gets criticism for winning. :laufband:

Thats kind of because Joshua used to just ran through opponents if the didn't really have any notable offense like a freight train. He tried the same think with Whyte and almost got knocked out. I dont think he'd be trying to run through old, fat but still formidable Lennox Lewis or prime Vitali Klitschko. When he tried to mow Wladimir down in round 5 he had success but then gassed. And Wladimir recovered and then he had success. And this is the same Klitschko that got blasted out by Sanders, Purity, and Brewster. And keep in mind Wladimir was well past it. Could he beat old Lewis ? Of course but would he ? Im not sure

You’re just a ball licker period. And do you think takam was as good as Chris Byrd? Did Joshua tear a rotator cuff against him ? Again you need to develop an understanding of boxing before you post here. If you want to PM sometime We can skype and I’ll give you lessons.

I think it would be an interesting fight but once Lewis gets him in trouble it's over.

It's not a lock in my eyes, but I'd go for Joshua by decision, most likely unanimous.
I can't compare the way Lewis fought Vitality to anything really, because he was up against an opponent who is nothing like Joshua.
It devolved into a messy, scrappy fight. At times, almost a brawl.
What I can say, like many have noted, is that Lewis wasn't in the best shape and he was 38.
Joshua is a good all-rounder who can mix it up or box. I think he'd box here, occasionally chin-checking Lewis but for the most part, just boxing smartly. He'd do well not to let Lewis land big uppercuts inside, and he has the tools to not get caught up in a physical fight.

I'm pretty sure Lewis would have his moments, but being out of shape and fairly well past his best can only auger well for the much younger Joshua.

I can see Lewis struggling to catch up to Joshua, and not bring able to get into position to let his shots go. I think Joshua would be a step ahead, resulting in a relatively uneventful win for Joshua.

I could see Joshua dropping Lewis, but I think once Lewis gets back to his feet he would put a serious hurting on him, Ruiz style. Joshua usually needs multiple knockdowns to win. It's the same reason why Vitali was always at a style disadvantage, the one punch power just wasn't there.

2003 Vitali was 10x fighter than 2017 Joshua. Lewis was slowed down and gassed in 2003 but bodybuilder's gas tank is even worse.

Lewis would outbox him and win by UD or late KO.
