-Moorer KO-Moorer will land and he will land hard, Roy wouldn't take this fight.
-Jones UD-Foreman too slow, Foreman wouldn't take this fight.
    -Jones UD-Bruno too limited
    -Jones UD-Rahman too limited
-Sanders KO-Too big, fast, and strong. I can't see Jones escaping without getting caught and finished.
-toss up-Byrd took Oquendo because he couldn't get Roy, Lewis, or Tyson.
-Brewster KO-Brewster is too strong and relentless, Roy wouldn't even consider this fight.
-Jones UD-Roy would be all over this one.
-Jones UD-Roy gets an impressive win, makes this lazy version of Peter look really bad.
-Haye KO-Too much size, speed, and power. Roy might get sparked for the money.

Morrer's southpaw stance and power jab would keep Jones off balance and the hard power shots would be too intimidating for jones. Jones may win the fiirst round or two but loses a decision based on his own inactivity. His legs and athleticism keep him uporight for the remainder of the fight. Jones would not take chances once he experiences moorer's power and he would be content to survive. (I pick jones to win at 175 though) Haye knocks jones out wothin five rounds based on his size and speed. He would be able to get to jones and finish him. I believe that all of the other fighters on the list are too slow of foot, too bulky and stiff or lach the stamina to beat Jones. Jones wins all the rest by unanimous decision. (Of coarse the all have a punchersa chance)

The fast, deadly bombs that Corrie Sanders used to destroy Wlad would get Roy out of there in the 1st round...lets not get carried away with the win over the sloppy, ineffectual punching Ruiz. Any of these bruisers save possibly Byrd would be as likely to catch him just as that Aussie did who ko'ed Jones. There's a principle of physics to consider here...mass and power vs the well established fragile chin of Jones. Any of them at any time had the potential upper hand here...especially Sanders because of his admitted "fast for a heavyweight" hand speed.

    Completely agree.

  8. Trying to compare Moorer at heavyweight to Jones at heavyweight is hilarious. Jones had only 1 bout and was never much of a puncher once he left up from super middleweight

Moorer boxed a heavyweight at years and was a better fighter at that weight class. Speed and being 190 pounds wont help him against Foreman, Bruno, Moorer, Or McCall

Beating Ruiz does not mean Jones can beat many guys at heavyweight.

we're talking about 2003 jones vs ruiz, not the post-heavy jones. listing jones' ko loss to green at 40 years of age to prove your point makes no sense. if his chin was so bad, he would have been ko'ed way earlier in his career.

I favor Moorer over Jones but it's not a given. Moorer could be really flatfooted.

I favor Jones over 94 Foreman. If Foreman can land his bombs he wins but considering he couldn't even do that on Tommy Morrison, well...

Can't see Jones beating Bruno. Bruno is too strong and hits way too hard.

Same goes for Rahman against Jones. The sheer strength of Rahman would make it too hard for Jones to evade him and Rahmans jab would do damage.

    Sanders blasts out Jones.

Jones beats Byrd convincingly. Byrd against someone quicker and with better reflexes doesn't bode well.

Brewster-Jones depends on which version of Brewster shows up. At his best against Wlad and Golota he could be a machine but he could look like **** too. Despite this, Brewster's going to knock him out more often than not

The Valuev of the Barrett fight was a good fighter, not quite the lumbering oaf you see today. This is a toss up

    Haye knocks out Jones
