lmao, this is one of the funniest posts ever :yep

on the serious side, you two have done a excellent job hating Wlado, there is barely any thread about him without your hate, the way you talk about him is if he is garbage yet the guy has been champ for 10 years. I seriously think you have scared guys on this forum from nuthugging him :blurp

it is if your main purpose on this forum is to bash and mock vlad nuthuggers to make them feel bad for nuthugging him :hey

what is it you hate about him so much or is it his fans you hate so much or both ??

to answer the question I would guess Vlad beats the 2004 Brewster,,,,

Its possible Vlad has lost a step but he has also gained a step from experience and confidence.

I personally think that anything is possible, Brewster was fast handed in his prime, actually, in his prime I think Brewster was a pretty good boxer that would give anyone a war. Vlad's jab and extra height was all wrong for Brewster. Vlad really teed off on Brewster from long range right before Brewster could fire back for the majority of all the rounds I saw between them.

= journeyman = a worker or sports player who is reliable but not outstanding.

    end of your brief input.

yup BS, funny you mention BS, seeing that contrary to your claims wlad only rematched brews when lamont had picked up a serious eye injury and a loss to a nobody.

same Brewster? nope, same kliturd you mean.

so why no rematches for the losses, even the Brewster rematch was after lamont was fuked.

nope, corrie, brews and that other nobody would all have wiped wlad out again - that's the only evidence we have and the only claim you can make based on it.

You realize that journeyman is a boxing specific term right?

In boxing and mixed martial arts, a journeyman is a fighter who has adequate skill but is not of the caliber of a contender or gatekeeper. Outside of combat sports, a "journeyman" is a trader or crafter who has completed an apprenticeship, but is not at the level of a master craftsman. Hence, when applied to them, a "journeyman" implies a fighter who is no longer a novice, and has the sufficient degree of boxing skill that may be expected from a professional, but who does not have the mastery possessed by the contenders.

Brewster was a recognized world title holder and ranked top a top 5 heavyweight by all boxing journalists worldwide for about 2 years. This entirely destroys your assertion Brewster was below the level of a contender :hi:

that may be, but there are plenty of contenders who became journeymen, and many journeymen who came back into contention.
Glen Johnson was a prime example of a consistent contender, but people call him a journeyman. The Cinderella Man is another.

Now, I call Brew a decent journeyman, not an average one - so I certainly see him as able to contend like Johnson. So you shouldn't get picky over me calling him someone as good as Glen J - in fact its flattering.

yep you are failing in your teleological argument. You are trying to say, God made the universe because only a God could make something so complex.

you see that reverse reasoning failure - you are claiming that wlad is a genuine champ for facing someone of the calibre of brew, and brew is the genuine champ for beating someone of the calibre of wlad. Its failed logic. You need external data to make a judgement.

its like claiming one dwarf is a tall guy because hes taller than another dwarf.

I don't mind people calling Sanders a journeyman. Ross Purrity definitely. Thing is: Brewster doesn't fit the bill. He was a top 5 HW for 24 months. A journeyman by DEFINITION can not be a top boxer in his division. Just like someone who is poor (financially) can't be rich at the same time and vice versa :deal:deal:deal

No way in hell was that fight a fluke. Fact is, Brewster had been destroying his recent opposition leading up to the Klitschko fight. If K2 really believed that loss was a fluke then they would have immediately rematched Brewster. They DIDN'T which tells us ALL we need to know...

is everyone in this thread that thick and ignorant of boxing that they dont know that Wlad completely dominated Brewster in the rematch?

It was like some abusive dad slapping around his 10 year old son for fun

Brewster also got a complete pasting in the first match, the only thing he did was be able to withstand getting brain damage. Maybe he prepared by getting his coach to smash him around the head with a baseball bat.

Adam Booth thinks the same BTW, Haye's coach
