The Ring rankings. Stiverne isn't #2 now. He was when Wilder fought him. Povetkin was #1 but has dropped out of the rankings since his ped bust. Wilder will fight him next year and his resume will surpass Vitali's for me if he wins.
Why would i think something that isn't true? First Povetkin requested a postponement to fight Wach. Then he botched the testing. Wilder had already left the country was was on route to fight. Povetkin caused all that mess himself.
Just because when Povetkin was making a mess of negotiating with Wlad you didn't blame him then. Kinda figured you'd be consistent with your approach.
Well Povetkin earnt his mandatory shot then pulled out of the fight. I know at the time you blamed Wlad for that which is why I assumed you'd blame Wilder for the failed drug test.
Teddy Atlas was to blame for that. As far as i remember pov faced Wlad but i don't recall any actual fight taking place.
I'm not talking about the fight. I'm on about before the fight, when you used to say Wlad was ducking Povetkin.
Was this really a bad top ten, Magoo? I'll break it down: We have a Hall of fame Champion on the list, dominating the division for a decade! - Wlad We have a top rated southpaw, who beat fine competition - Byrd We have a lineal champion who KO'd Lennox Lewis - Rhaman We have a hard punching and durable heavy, who once beat Wlad and became an alphabet champion, good enough to defend his title 3 times - Brewster We have a slugger who also became a champion. - PEter We have a jab and clinch guy, I hated, but he was decent - Ruiz. We have a giant who won and lost some big fights - Valuev >>>Brock and Barrett really did not belong, but this is not a bad top ten at all. Take a look at some other ones...they are far worse.
