Lacy on points. Totally underrated fighter here, he was a beast, a borderline P4P-er and a 2-handed bomber before the mental defeat and the physical injury. He never was the new Tyson everybody was raving about, but neither he was a C level slow bum with a punch, what most of you guys and girls think of him now. He was a very decent fighter with two handed power, he would've outboxed any version of Froch.
had lacy been at that point of his career now this thread would have been laughed at. lacy now is very underrated for what he used to be.
Even today's Lacy beats Froch. Froch doesn't have the footwork to keep at a proper distance. Lacy has a steel jaw and can take Froch's punches, but Froch can not take Lacy's power.
atsch Back to the original question. This would have been a great fight and I see Froch getting the UD. They're both slow, plodding fighters with great chins and great power, but Lacy doesn't have the skills to deal with Froch's awkwardness.
