Margarito KO around rounds 8-10. Too big and strong for the Mancunian.

Hatton, at any point in his career, is just too small to deal with the 2008 version of Margarito.

Ya, ur right, in the past Hatton has shown propensity to lose to guys with no speed, ponderous punches, with no footwork.. Thanks for the insight.

    Pfft....................

If you mean the Hatton from the Tszyu fight, he has a chance.

Any other time, Marg wins by TKO. They are pretty similar stylewise, Hatton probably the better boxer.

''Good big 'un beats a good little 'un'' in this instance.

Hatton could 'Ben Tackie' him, but lets face it, Margo would probably take this. A decent sized jr WW vs a massive Welterweight who's able to fight at 154

    Tackie respected Hatton's power though........

Margarito will make Hatton look like a pitty pat puncher.

Hattons footwork, and inside skills, and heart will provide Hatton the keys to victory.. A good body attck would do good things too

Margarito is too big at WW, and Ricky Hatton is too small. I'd take Margarito by UD. Would be a competitive fight though.

Margarito is too big and too relentless.

Margarito runs over pretty much everyone at 140 and 147. The only people that are going to give him a fight are fighters that can much his size and strength and physical durability, as well as having a 1. great workrate or 2. an excellent boxer or 3. an airtight defense and great countering ability

Hatton has that ******ed habit of blocking punches with his face which would be a surefire recipe for disaster against someone like Margarito that likes to throw over 100 punches a round. Factor in how easy Hatton swells and cuts during fights and you can pretty much imagine what the state of his face would be after a round or two.

However, it would be dynamite while it lasted. Hattons gets flattened within 4 in an entertaining brawl.
