thank you for posting this immense fight monshipour took on boxing at a VERY late age, something like 17 as I recall he is was born in Iran and became French citizen later - after one of his title defends, he insisted to sing the French anthem and couldnt finish properly because he was in tears, he makes me proud to be his countryman he was a physical beast, it is impressive what he managed to achieve considering the age he took on boxing I am huge fan, such a nice and articulate guy if only all boxers could be like Mayar
Thanks for the reply. I was just looking back at some of the better fights we've had in recent years and of course this was one of them. Often overlooked but it shouldn't be.
great fight!...two warriors going at it toe to toe in an epic battle...i felt monshipour could have continued, because the thai was also pretty hurt and tired....i think they both took abot 15 yaers offa each others life expectancy with thiis one, though.
