I'm a big DLH fan, but I don't know if the 2007 edition could stop Cotto. This was the version that fought Mayweather, after all, and he was really slow, flat-footed, stiff, gassed badly after 8 rounds and attacked in straight lines with sloppy flurries. He was a shell of his former self. He might beat Cotto, but I see it being a close fight that goes to the scorecards.

The 2002 or 2003 edition of DLH would brutalize Cotto en route to a TKO in the 8th or 9th round though. He was much sharper and had a much more varied attack with much greater lateral movement back in those days (even if he was still rather flat-footed, he still moved briskly and was much faster.)

Just look at their matches vs Mayorga to put in perspective how much better ODH is than Cotto.

Oscar cracks that questionable chin by round 3

Yes he would...DLH still had more fire power.

He was a shell, but had a better jab, more power, and better technic than Cotto, not to mention a better chin, this version of DLH was a 10 round fighter like Cotto has always been.

    This is true.

2007 DLH still had some fire, but was faded already. I would say DLH in a very close fight, but prime DLH was no joke!

It all depends if DeLaHoya stacked like Roach claimed, and would he be on coke and tequila?
