80's - does well. Watch out for Tyson of course.

90's would be a lot more difficult for him I believe.

Bowe's prime was like 2 or 3 fights.................which means there's a very small window of opportunity for him to even make it competitive.

This may surprise you, but I believe a focused, motivated Wladimir beats them all. Size, skills, and power. Wladimir is very underrated due to the occassions when he has had mental lapses. The current Wladimir, being trained by Steward and doing traditional boxing training and loads of roadwork, could beat any heavyweight in history.

Very true, the 90's had a much more diverse group of HW's to contend with.

This post will get you a lot of flak...............and that's an understatement.

Truth is Wlad could beat any of them or lose to some of them.

The only silly ones are Bowe, Morrison, Old Forman & McCall.

No way wlad beats lewis, i think tyson would beat him as well, holyfield would have shot but i would favour wlad. I actually think mccall would have a decent shot only due to the fact that wlad couldn't ko him and if wlad tired mccall could hit him with a big shot. Other than that wlad kills the others.

Not worried about the flak, it will come from the uninformed.

As an avid student of the game for over 30 years and as an ex fighter I have learned to analyze without emotion.

Wlad's pro accomplishments are clear. The current era of heavyweights is not weaker than any era since the mid 1970's. Anyone that believes that has not seen Tony Tubbs, Tim Witherspoon, or Carl Williams fight.

He is dominant in this era. Also his extensive amatuer background (Olympic champ), and his physical and skill advantages to those on the list are clear. Wlad's problem has been mental. He seems to have overcome that issue. His stamina issues seem to have also been addressed by Steward's training methods.

Wlad would kill a 1981 Ali.

This is sensible. Wlad has the skills to beat anybody, and a couple of weaknesses that can be exploited.

Holyfield, Tyson, Bowe, and Lewis would beat him. I think Morrison gets KO'd, Foreman loses a lopsided decision, McCall loses a lopsided decision.

I'd give Mercer a better shot than the 3 aforementioned fighters.
