    Who wins and how ? Looking for some good scientific reasoning about their styles and how it would dictate the outcome.

    Cottoe's stance leaves him open to the body. Floyd's jab stabs that stomach all night and it brings down Cottoe's already stooped over crouched down head even lower exposing him for that famous right.

    Watch Floyd get Cottoe's homeboi Bruseles, he kept stabbing him in the pit with a jab and ended the fight with a bodyshot.

    Everyone knows Floyd wins all hypothetical match-ups with ultimate ease.

    I go with Cotto. Floyd has trouble in the 21st century with names that begin or end with the letter O.

    castillO, Ortiz, Oscar, PacquiaO, joel casamayorO, kosta tszuO, margaritO

    Mayweather wins. Probably something like 9-3. Cotto was always too open and basic to beat Mayweather.

    :lol::lol::lol: Brilliant!

    And yeah, Cotto's defence is leaky. He would end up battered pretty bad.

    There's a reason Floyd retired instead of fighting Cotto. Yes Floyd is more talented, but Cotto hits like a mule and is great at cutting off the ring. I think the 2008 version of Cotto knocks Floyd out.

    It would have been great to watch. Undefeated Cotto vs. Undefeated Mayweather. It was the best fight that could have been made at the time.

    No way Mayweather knocks Cotto out, it took plaster to do that. I'd take Cotto to bang the body early, slow Floyd down and bring it to a split decision.

    Unfortunately, after beating a less skilled 140 pounder May "retired" until the waters were safer.

    I think it would've been competitive, with Floyd about 8-4, maybe 7-5. Cotto was a great boxer in 2008 and very polished and skilled. He outboxed Mosley and was competitive with Pacquiao for 4 rounds. There is no size difference so Cotto won't be Margaritoed.
