2008: Cotto vs Floyd @MGM Grand - How Does It Play Out ?

A lot of Cotto's opponents have said he hits hard.

 

Cotto cant handle fast quick opponents, hes a lil slow and no defense.

 

Mayweather by thrashing. Cotto's style has never allowed him to even compete with Mayweather who is far more skilled than Cotto.

Cotto's defense leaves him wide open for uppercuts and we all know what Mayweather can do when a punch is just asking to be landed.

Cotto is also a left handed fighter. Stop his left hand and he's basically worthless.

I would think Floyd wins. I don't see this as easy, since Cotto is very good as well. Hmm...maybe that's why Floyd wanted Cotto at 140 when Cotto was still coming up.

Cotto has a poor right hand (a reason Pacman walked through him), cant remember Mayweather having trouble with flat footed, jab and left hook reliant fighters with poor defence.

Not knocking Cotto though, hes good to watch.:good

Cotto loses, and loses convincingly. I have discussed Cotto and his weaknesses enough where I really do not want to repeat myself.

Hell of an exciting fighter though. I am a Cotto fan.
