floyd vs cotto would have been early 09 cause cotto would have beat margo then cotto & oscar would have went down during the date of the oscar & manny fight.. then if cotto won ... like 3-4 weeks would have went by and they would have announced the fight for like march probably

how would they have timed that if the winner of cotto vs margarito would have got the december date with oscar though? oscar was getting cotto before floyd thats a fact... it would have been better that way anyways becaues cotto would have beaten oscar way more brutally (if he did win) than floyd did so it would have been a much better build up it would have been floyds defining moment... well cotto or floyds defining moment... truth be told i bet floyd was really pissed that cotto lost to margarito
