2009 is great so far ...

Margarito-Mosley, FOTY?....definatly not

but yeah, 09' has been great so far, hopefully we'll even have ourselves the 1st interesting HW fight in a long long time

Re Margarito - Mosley

Mosley fought the way I like to see boxers fight.
He effectvely used the left jab to the head and body.
He moved well and had a variety of defensive moves.
Instead of running, at times he moved inside a threw effective short punches.

 

2009 is shaping up to be a great year. It would be great if it can measure up to how great the previous year was.

2009 has indeed been a pleasant surprise. Most of the big fights have lived up to the hype. I still think Holt/Bradley will be the fight of the year.

 

Marquez Diaz is the FOTY so far IMO

 

JuanMa/Vazquez will be FOTY if it happens.

 

Adamek is turning out brilliant performances this year or 2 really enjoying watching his fights lately

 

No, it was in December. But hold on to your pants, I wouldn't be surprised if a rematch was made this year. I think Adamek likes to keep busy and a fight every 3 months or so would be admirable. Hopkins, Dawson and G. Jones are the other strong possibilities for Adamek in 09. Even Haye is possible, if he's unsuccessful at HW.

 

The fight against Banks wasn't spectacular in its entirety, but a shrewdly fought fight by Adamek (in retrospect), with a satisfying ending. Banks represented a solid first defense for TA.
