2009 K-1 World Grand Prix - time to pick a winner

Schilt over Overeem in the Final.

 

I fancy Remy to win it.

 

I think Overeem will take it. That's my pick, but we know any close decision will go to the feg fighter. just like a las vegas judge will always favor the most profitable zuffa contractor.

 

schilts/bonjasky final. my picks are **** lately though.

 

I'm starting to lean towards Overeem.

 

imagine oveerem wins, and then the hype fedor vs oveerem, that would be great

 

Hmm, this is tough. There are some damn good fighters in that lineup. I'm going to go with Schilt for now.

 

Schilt based on experience and being it is a 3 fight 1 night tournament.

In a single fight I can see Hari or Overeem win over Schilt but in a tournament I think Schilt will win.

Overeem is known to not have such a good stamina. And I think that will be his downfall in the tournament.

Hari has to fight 3 rematch/crudge fights on one evening. His first 2 fights will be against guys that have knocked him down/out before. Hari always gets knocked down/out over three fights which of course makes changes of him winning the tournament less.

 

that is exactly what it would be 'hype'! he already beat a 3 time GP winner in schilts! fedor does'nt need overeem! he already beat the guys who ****ed overeem up i.e big nog,arona etc still i suppose its one of the potential better HW fights in the offing!

 

I'm voting for Overeem just because I would like to see him win to make a fight with Fedor more intriguing, however I would not be surprised to see Schilt or Le Banner or Bonjansky win. This one is up in the air.

 

Strangely I see Ubereem winning the whole thing something tells me he is going to be clinching his way to decisions all night.

 

That surprised me too. It wouldn't surprise me if he lost in the 1st fight but then again it wouldn't surprise me if he done well and won a fight or 2. I can't see him winning it though. I've voted for Hari (im probably being a bit biased) but also with him you never know cause of his chin. I definatley think he can win it though. Would be good to see a hari vs overeem rematch in the next round. Schilt (a more safer pick) is the other guy who I think can win it. I know Hari blasted him but if they do meet in the tourny it can only be in the final. Can Hari reach the final? If he does what kind of condition will he been? I can't wait to watch the tourny!
