Yea, please link to this rehydration clause.

You know Cotto is probably the only champ to request a rehydration clause for a title defense?

You have to agree that a proper trainer would make Cotto a better fighter right? Do you believe Pac has become a better fighter under Roach? That should show you how much of a difference a trainer can make.

Cotto can deal with pressure well. He lost to Margarito because of Margarito's chin. I'm sure Cotto thought he was going to win in the early rounds when he was landing at will on Margarito. I have seen Cotto handle pressure well in the past.

As much as I love Cotto, I don't think the extra two pounds was the sole determining factor. Cotto gives a better accounting of himself at 147, but likely loses a decision.

I think You guys may be right! I cant find any credible sources for a rehydration clause for the cotto vs pacman fight. Not even for the pacman vs de la hoya fight. Just rumors but no credible sources.

of course there's none. pac even fought the bigger margo w/out rehydration clause and cotto is naturally smaller than him. do you want the source where floyd demanded a rehydration clause againt winky wright?

Cotto is one of my fav Boxers, but honestly sometimes I think, what if Cotto had that 2 extra pounds and a good trainer?

Like either way Styles makes Fights, Pacquiao will win because of his work rate and always busy between the 2.

i would still go with cotto at the full weight of 147. but doing some more more research into this whole catch wieght king title that pac has... He gets a lil bit of a bad rap on that. Everyone knows I like floyd more than Manny but I will be honest and objective. Alot of fighters through out history have done it! SRL JCC Bhop to name a few. I do still believe that there is an advantage for having it but pacman gets a lil too much flak for it.

That's before they found out that Cotto was shot. If everybody had known that Cotto was shot to **** like after PAC beat him, they would all have bet on PAC .

    Back to your question,
Yes, Pacquiao has become a Better Fighter since hooking up with Freddie Roach BUT before Roach, Pacquiao was already a Champion also, Won the Lineal & WBC Flyweight titles, WBC international Super Bantamweight title & OPBF Flyweight Title.

Either way he had the Potential to be a Champion and the only thing he had going back then was his devastating Left Hand.
