2009 mosley and current version

I think he should look a certain different way against a bigger slower man than against a smaller quicker/far more skilled man.

 

Shane looked faster to me in this fight, but Of course he's gonna look faster against Margarito and bigger and slower than Mayweather.

 

He's exactly the same version now as he was back then.

 

A year+ is a long time in boxing, especially when you're nearing 40.

Don't forget that there was already talk of Mosley being shot right after the Mayorga fight.

Margarito/Mosley might have been a case of a fighter being able to pull-off one last great performance. Look at Morales/Pac for another example of this.

A lot of credit goes to Floyd for his victory and this just proves that he's one of the top fighters right now but IMO the fact that Mosley was considered the top welterweight of the moment is proof that the division pales in comparison to other eras and does not give FLoyd any more leverage when discussing his future ATG status!

 

Shane has been in decline for a while, limited brawlers like Margacheato aren't gonna show the decline but guys with speed and or skills will. IMO he looked slow with Zero explosiveness even in the 2nd round when he hurt PBF.

:good Margo was made for Shane that's all there is to it. He didn't even look as fast or sharp against Margarito as people made him out to be.

I don't mean any disrespect to Mosley(he's one of my favorites) or Mayweather(you still have to beat the man they line up in front of you and he did it in style when people questioned whether he wanted to fight Shane), but Mosley hasn't looked like Mosley in years until they put Margarito in front of him.

shane is a dirty fighter, theres documented proof that shane has used steroids! The media gives him a pass because hes a nice guy!!
