The Pacquiao that beat Cotto has the best chance at beating any version of Mayweather at 147lbs. He was great in this bout, arguably just as fast as he was against Hatton, he filled out a touch more, arguably heavier handed.

I would still favour Mayweather though, only slightly.

Pacquiao gives a lot of his southpaw advantages away in the way he fights. You can't just group every southpaw together like that.

Mayweather fights southpaws this way, which means said boxer can have success, because he's a southpaw.
