Who would have won if the Wlad from 2010 fought the 2015 Fury?

It seems that Fury may have ducked the rematch in 2016 so surely a prime Klitschko would have been too much for him to handle.

2006-2012 (prime) Wlad would probably have hammered him. Also, Fury didn't actually duck the rematch, as we know now he couldn't fight because he was suspended for a failed drugtest at the time.

    Wlad.

    It's obvious.

Not only was Wlad ticking along in years, but he also had a suicidal wife at home that played havoc with his mental state. In the 12th when Wlad finally remembered that he was allowed to throw more than 1 punch a round, he found the range and had no problems in landing on Fury.

2010 Wlad beats Fury and Joshua. Fury never impressed me , not even when he beat wlad. . Joshua would be more difficult fight , but wlad takes it by UD or a KO.

depends - if wlad hadnt married that wife and also not decided to not throw punches then he would have won easy.

Klitschko would have killed him with any form going back to '06 until the Jennings fight, that is really the one where he was finally visibly faded.

Wlad would win a close decision but i believe Fury had his number.

I think Wlad is the easy choice for everyone to say, but I think Dec 1st we may really find out the answer to that. We may find out how good Fury is or how great he will be!

Fury. Wlad was an excellent fighter, but he very specialized style. His style was able to take advantage of smaller or slower fighters. Fury took the jab-and-grab away from him. Wlad could never adapt mid-fight. (It's why he kept trying the same damned left hook and lost to AJ. AJ was there for the taking but Wlad couldn't recognize to change the angle of the punch! He showed great heart in that fight though)

The young aggressive Wlad would have the best chance against Fury. If, he could blast him out early. If not, he'd drown in the deep end of the fight.

Wlad fought fellas his size or there about's too. The best Of Fury loses imo by wide UD minimum, im leaning towards him getting dropped a few times though and stopped late on

I actually think Fury may have beat any version of him, that he was just a bad style matchup for Wlad. We'll never know for sure, but I think if he ever faces and beats AJ, it will be a strong indication that Fury would have always won. AJ has the same dimensions as Wlad, and comparable power. And clearly Wlad was never going to decision Fury, he lacked the length and Fury had too much movement. So Wlad would have had to be aggressive and get a ko. AJ certainly isn't the boxer Wlad was, but is more aggressive, so if he can't get the stoppage over Fury, Wlad is unlikely to have ever gotten one.

Prime Wlad would KO him. In 12th when he started throwing Fury became clueless

I like wlad but his style was meant to deal with smaller men and I see fury giving him fits at any point of his career now dose that mean a fury wins no but it would be more interesting than the first fight

True. Wlad did fight some big guys. I said smaller or slower. Of the bigger guys, most were slower. Wlad was fine if he can get off his jab first. Again. Wald was an excellent fighter, just not a very adaptable one. I think Fury would always be a nightmare for Wlad. The way Fury is constantly changing and his size and speed. It's just a styles thing.
