so you agree with him , wlad beats any version of foreman try adding to the boxing debate not spelling mistakes or someones age
I'd feel very comfortable throwing cash down on a Wlad UD. Not only is it the most likely outcome, the odds would be fantastic because of all the money going towards a Foreman KO. :hey
You don't have to have a monster chin to have a better chin than Wlad. Wlad and Patterson are the two heavyweight champs in history with the worst chins. Wlad protects his VERY well now, but Foreman would get through. Keith
I would pick Wlad to win over the '91 version of Foreman. Wlad "hits and doesn't get hit" all the way to a UD.
Bad matchup for wlad.. he gets Ko'd after a few rounds. He may outbox george for a few rounds but never actually land anything big because George would back him off with every shot he would land. I give it to George, and by a long shot. And I have no doubt that George would be able to take everything Wlad throws due to his granite chin. I have George by knockout. It would be even worse if this was 1974 George
How is 1991 Foreman more destructive than Sanders? .For all his limitations, Sanders was dangerous for 3 - 4 rounds when he wanted to be, he had better hand and footspeed than George, who didn't knock out an elite fighter in his comeback except Moorer. He looked good against Holyfield because Holy fought the kind of fight in which George can look good. 1991 George never faced anyone close to Wlad's combination of height, reach, speed, power and skill. How would George be better equipped to get past that jab and range control of Wlad than more skilled fighters like Byrd, Chagaev? They are quicker and slicker than George and couldn't do it. Moorer kept George at bay aslong as he wanted to. And I don't write Wlad's KO losses off, on those nights he could have lost to a lot of fighters. And Peter used illegal rabbit punches for two of those knockdowns. The current version of Wlad would not lose to those three fighters who beat him then. I see Wlad as far superior to Moorer in controlling range and Moorer with more mental discupline would have kept George at bay for three more rounds. The comeback version of George would have needed serious mistakes from elite fighters for him to win and the current version of Wlad doesn't make those.
If you really think Sanders is on Foreman's level, then I guess the conversation is over, because you are so far off in Wlad is great land, reason has effect on you. Also couple with the fact that you claim Wlad doesn't make "mistakes" anymore. That's why I enjoy discussing boxing with boxing fans instead of fans of boxers. Sorry to waste your time. Keith
