    Yes, folks, it's time for the inaugural Chinchecker MMA awards and they are as follows.

    Glass Jawed Fraud of the Year- Fedor, runner-up Wanderlei Silva

    Glass Bodied Joke of the Year- Tito Ortiz, runner-up Brock Lesnar

    Paper Faced Disgrace of the Year- Chris Leben, runner-up Chris Lytle

    Glass Hearted Disgrace of the Year- Valentijn Overeem, runner-up Eddie Alvarez

    Glass Lunged Loser of the Year- "Mayhem" Miller, runner-up BJ Penn

    Iron Chinned Warrior of the Year- Dan Henderson, runners-up Mauricio Rua and BJ Penn

    Iron Bodied Warrior of the Year- BJ Penn, runner-up Mauricio Rua

    Stout Hearted Warrior of the Year- Frankie Edgar, runners-up Mauricio Rua and Minotauro Nogueira

    Fighter of the Year- Jon Jones

    Fight of the Year- Henderson/Rua, runners-up Chandler/Alvarez and Edgar/Maynard III

    KO of the Year- Silva/Belfort, runners-up Makdessi/Watson, Browne/Struve, and Jung/Hominick

    Submission of the Year- Mir/Nogueira

    Beatdown of the Year- Jones/Rua

    Prospect of the Year- Michael McDonald, runner-up Rory MacDonald

    Round of the Year- Diaz/Daley R1

    Event of the Year- UFC 134

    Isn't calling Brock a glass bodied joke a bit of a ****'ish move? My aunt suffers from Diverticulitus and its a life changer. It's not his fault.

    Negative, I've only recently returned from my yearly holiday trip to the British Isles and I was a bit too busy to post.

    And that's your perogative on the awards. While the above are the official, Chinchecker™ sanctioned awards you can give your own take on all categories. In fact, that's what I hope everyone reading this will do.

    Where have you been? What are your thoughts on Lesnar vs Overeem you must have felt like beekeeper in an aoki fanshop seeing a glas jaw fight a glas heart (I still don´t think that Lesnar has a glas jaw) :happy

    He only got KOd once and by Hendo who has heavy heavy hands so why not Brendan Schaub instead? He got KOd by Big Nog who isnt exactly known for KOing people

    Hmmm, the question is where haven't I been. I left for Scotland just before Christmas and stayed in Edinburgh until then, then spent a few days in Dublin, then a quick jaunt to London where I stayed until I came home late yesterday evening. And yes, I was excited for Overeem/Lesnar because of the Glass on Glass match-up. I actually expected to see Lesnar ended via shattered Chin but the exposure of his Glass Body was nice.:good

    Because he was starched by a natural MW. No HW should be knocked unconscious by an arm-punch that had no leverage delivered by a MW.

    Well Fedor is just a fat LHW and there was only 16 lbs weight difference between them but if you watched the fight you can see Hendo putting some weight behind the punch to get more power into it

    The man has no Chin, that wasn't a good punch, and even Popkins, who loathes to agree with me, has admitted as such. HWs, particularly those touted as "GOATs", shouldn't be KOed by a MW's arm punches. Glass Jaws Exist in MMA and Fedor has one. Get over it.:lol::rofl:patsch
