Not many fights left me speechless but that one did. Some of the shots they were taking. Punishing, brutal etc etc

Marquez-Concepcion is an instant classic.

I know little about either; how good are they? How important a fight was this? They've both slipped under my increasingly lacklustre radar. They look a cut about Villa/Mtagwa that's for sure.

 

Also, massive shame about the ending though. Both guys had more fight left in 'em IMO.

Acosta-Rios was quality too. A combination of punching himself out and not being tough enough played right into Rios' non-stop accumulation style. I was truly pleased with his ability to finish as well.

Not sure it'd work out for him against JMM (though the old man is steadily wilting IMO) but the winner of Soto-Antillon II, or Katsidis would be very intriguing.

I never thought I'd say this, but any of the above (minus Katsidis or Marquez) Vs Valero would be entertaining, and telling fights.

Rios might well walk through the rest of the 6-3 brigade. If JMM moves up it's up to Katsidis to unify the division IMO. I'd love to see him take on Soto next, if they both win their respective matchups. Hopefully JMM doesn't venture any further North though, unless it's for Pac of Amir of course :yep

 

just finished watching this, ****ing hell Concepcion using his face as his defence but by christ is he tough, shame about the stoppage, think it was the right call because his eye was badly swollen, loved to see a rematch.

lol in round 10 when he got dropped and tried to run back into action, then when it restarts he almost drops Marquez.

 

What a fight Marquez-concepcion was, it was amazing how many flush shots concepcion took and just stood there, reminded me of gatti. Lets see a rematch as soon as.

Round 6 is has Round of the Year locked up! That was unbelievable, ref looking for the one more shot from Berto to jump in to stop the fight and then BOOM! Fantastic shot from Ortiz had Berto reeling at that bell.

**** knows how Ortiz found so much heart and bottle, immense performance!

 

I think the Peterson fight angered him and woke him up...that he needs to go through the grinders to become a champion. ''No More Mr Nice Guy'' and last night he beat **** out of Berto

The penny has finally dropped with Victor and tbh i think he took better punches last night then against Maidana. The 6th round punch that Knocked him down....****ing hell that ripped his neck back. Not many would of got up let alone drop man in same round.
