2012 HBO boxing budget 35Mil, Showtime 28Mil

    I wonder how much of that 28Mil at Showtime will go to Al Haymon. Let's see he already got the Berto-Oriz fight there for what, 2.3 mill, then there's the Paul Williams-Ishida fight for another million plus. I'm sure Broner will fight a couple scrubs for another couple mill, add Gary Russell another combined mill by seasons end. Jermain Taylor and Andre Dirrell need some more tune-up fights. Aerola's making a comeback, probably will want another couple mil just to fight someone like Thompson. Showtime's budget will get eaten up with shitty fights pretty fast.

    And then there'll be Andre Ward vs Anthony Dirrell as well.

    well HBO has scheduled 3 quality cards for 2012 thus far.
    Showtime scored Berto/Ortiz 2 with a filler undercard and backed
    it up with Williams/Ishida. Cloud/Campillo helps though. As does
    Lopez/Salido 2


    HbO with the early 2012 lead in quality.
