heavyweight Anthony Joshua(UK) - 8(8)-0-0 two good fights before the end of the year, should be around european champion by end of next year Zhang Zhilei(China) - 1(1)-0-0 ,31 years old but has very good potential, might be a better pro than an amateur Dominic Breazeale(USA) 12(11)-0-0 looks a but sloppy in some of his fights but coming along well and imo the best american heavyweight prospect Michael Hunter(USA) 6(4)-0-0 decent fighter but undersized for a heavyweight should have started at 200 pounds but theres no money for an american fighter at that weight unless he made the decision to be based in Europe Cruiserweight Oleksandr Uysk(Ukraine) 5(5)-0-0 looks amazing and has WSB experince behind him, should be world champion by end of next year, imo would win a world title in his next fight if he got the chance light heavyweight Artur Beterbeiv(Russia) 6(6)-0-0 massive puncher and the future of the light heavyweight division, id favour him against anyone at light heavyweight if they faught tomorrow Egor Mekhontsev(Russia) 5(5)-0-0 looks but needs to start stepping up,30 next month and has the potential to become a world champion Oleksandt Gvodsyk(Ukraine) 3(2)-0-0 great prospect again they should be looking to move him more quickly given his WSB experince, packed division but has the potential to be a further world champion Enrico koelling(Germany) 16(6)-0-0 has almost 100 round pro experince since turning pro. Don't think his as talented as the other guys in this divison to go pro but could be a slow burner and is being brought along the right way Damien Hooper(Austrailia) 9(8)-0-0 very talented fighter and has looked good so fair but a bit wild and raw. Think discipline could be the one thing to hold back Hoopers career Marcus Browne(USA) 12(9)-0-0 Looks like a good prospect and the best hope for America at 175, although i can see him getting lost at 10-20 level in such a packed division Super Middleweight Esquiva Florentino(Brazil) 5(3)-0-0 looks a very good prospect and is brought along well, could be a big player in this division in 2 years Stefan Haertel(Germany) 2(2)-0-0 still early days but he could either be very good or very average Middleweight Anthony Ogogo(UK) 7(4)-0-0 hasn't look amazing against very limited opposition, can't see him getting past domestic level Ievgen Khytrov(Ukraine) 6(6)-0-0 huge prospect with dynamite in his fists, future would champion, should be near that level by the end of next year Ryota Murata(Japan) 5(4)-0-0 another huge prospect who has fought better guys in his first 5 fights than most guys would fight after 20 fights. If he keeps moving like this he will be near world level by the end of next year Terrell Gausha(USA) 12(6)-0-0 Showed his limitations in the WSB, can see him being brought along an easy route to a higher level where he will be exposed Yamaguchi Falcao(Brazil) 2(1)-0-0 another very good prospect ,still early days though Light Middleweight Oscar Molina(Mexico) 9(7)-0-0 has look decent so far but could lack the skill and technical ability to make it at a higher level. Although if he has that Mexican toughness it could make up for that Taras Shelestyuk(Ukraine) 9(6)-0-0 looked good so far but struggled in his last fight. Think he needs more schooling in the pro game as he has no WSB background but is still a big talent Welterweight Errol Spence(USA) 14(11)-0-0 Big prospect and has been matched well so far, time to step him up and see how he does, looks the business so far Cameron Hammond(Austrialia) 10(4)-0-0 very good prospect as well but lacks a bit of power, still plenty of time to develop Egidijus Kavaliauskas(Lithuania) 8(7)-0-0 id have him or Spence as the best prospect at welterweight, looks top notch and carries a lot of power and has good technique Jeff Horn(Austrailia) 8(6)-0-1 very high on this guy think he can maybe be the austrailian out of this olympics to go the furthest Light Welterweight Anthony Yigit(Sweden) 10(3)-0-1 decent figher but can't see him getting past european level Thomas Stalker(UK) 9(2)-0-0 was a decent amatuer but makes a terrible pro, can't even see him winning a british title Wellington Arias(Domician Republic) 4(2)-0-0 havn't seen much of him and its still early days, won't make a judgement Jose Ramirez(USA) 11(8)-0-0 look a very good prospect and is still young and been brought along well. Want to see him step up in competition Lightweight Jamel Herring (USA) 9(6)-0-0 Honestly don't think this guy is going anywhere, will make a few pound in the pros but can't see him doing anything of meaning Felix Verdejo(Puerto Rico) 15(11)-0-0 great prospects and still only 21. if he keep progressing like he has so far he could be near world level by the end of the year Luke Campbell(UK) 8(6)-0-0 started at too high of a weight imo and i think he could lack a bit of pop at this level. In saying that his very good techniqally and skillwise, could be a future world champion Featherweight Oscar Valdez(Mexico) 12(11)-0-0 id bet my life on this guy being a future world champion has looked amazing so far and is made for the pros. Reminds me of Roberto Duran John Joe Nevin(Ireland) 1(0)-0-0 career has stalled due to an attack that broke both of John Joes legs. His got the talent to be as good as he wants but discipline and family fueding might limit his career Vasyl Lomachenko(Ukraine) 2(1)-1-0 already a world champion and future p4per . Incredible talent Dennis Ceylan(Denmark) 12(6)-0-1 very average amatuer and isn't going to cut it as a pro. Can't even see him getting to european level Super Bantemweight Joseph Diaz(USA) 12(8)-0-0 Not even 22 yet and has some good wins under his belt. I can see him at least getting to world level Isaac Dogboe(Ghana) 2(1)-0-0 early days yet and i think he could be having promotional issues Ibrahim Balla(Austrailia) 6(4)-0-0 Decent fighter and seems to be coming along nicely, got potential Bantemweight Duke Micah(Ghana) 12(12)-0-0 turned pro in Ghana so has kind of flied under the radar, hard to judge him until he fights internationally Rau'shee ******(USA) 12(3)-0-0 good amatuer but i can't see him becoming world champion Flyweight Jeremy Beccu(France) 5(1)-0-0 can only see him getting to European level Zou Shiming(China) 5(1)-0-0 seems limited and not good enough to win a world title but i think he could have more potential than we think Jantony Ortiz(Puerto Rico) 3(2)-0-0 best flyweight prospect out of the olympics to turn pro imo
erol spence is the most promising fighter on that list followed by verdejo. i've not seen beterbiev yet.
nice thread. There's a thread dedicated strictly for the American team, but I'm glad you did it for the all of the Olympic fighters
id say he will be amatuer for a while after Medzhidov knocking the tar out of him also barely any Kazkhs go pro
he also claims that b hop will beat Kovalev but goes very quiet when a bet ban is mentioned the thing thats sad about him is that he isn't trolling his mind has just been warped by a bigoted upbringing
He is at his best when he blames Kirk Johnson's loss to Vitaly on bad timing. He then goes on too claim that a well prepared Kirk, like the one who had camp in Dallas would have stopped Vitaly. :rofl
oh ya, if your a black american to him your automatically better than everyone else its very sad the poor chap obviously likes boxing but he constantly makes bad predictions and makes himself look like a fool due to his bigoted attitude he claims to have never seen imo a p4p top 5 amatuer of the last 10 years who is now a top 10 175'er after 6 fights and destroyed a former world champion, its sad, if your not black he just ingores them fighters and hopes they go away
I've had these guys in the back of my mind so Egidijus Kavaliauskas Jose Ramirez Jeff Horn Damien Hooper Oscar Valdez Threads will be on the way sooner or later, maybe the Falcao Brothers as well
