2012 "Potty" Povetkin VS 1991 "Razor" Ruddock

Povetkin has a v.similar style to Tyson, But is a v.inferior in lots of ways.

    Ruddock

The guy had serious power, its just the guy he was fighting was a man on a mission with an iron chin.

Never really saw Povetkin's chin tested against anyone who could seriously bang.. Boswell had a decent enough punch, but was way too shot to manifest any kind of a meaningful attack, or at least from what I've heard of that fight... Didn't see it. The rest of his best opponents, like Donald, Byrd, Chambers, and Chagaev had no punch and most of whom were past it.... A peak Ruddock who took out Dokes with one big shot and battled for 12 rounds with Tyson is a safer pic.

Ruddock by KO. Povetkin would need to find some of that workrate he used to have to stand a chance.
He ain't got the power to worry Razor and somewhere along the line he'd get clapped.

I would go with Ruddock here. Povetkin is at a style disadvantage in this fight, and lacked the power to turn the tide in his favor.

I do not reckon Potty Povetkin has teh chin needed to take Ruddock's SMASH while charging forward.

Captain Huck must of stunned/hurt Potty about 10 times in 12 Rounds And Huck was not a big puncher even 198LBS as a CRUISER.

And i really thought Povetkin was so v.badly HURT he was going to be KTFO by Captain Huck in Round 7 And ROund 12.

Hard to say how good Povetkin can be. He takes a good shot but has not been hit by anyone that could bang with the left hook like Rudduck. Now Rudduck was stopped a few times by guys that he should have beat. I am surprised Tommy Morison got up and went on against him and he was blown out by Lewis and beaten by Dave Jaco....In fact what wins was Razor known for Dokes? He lost 2x vs Tyson but was not blown away....hard to say how good Razor was and how good Povetkin is....He was out of condition vs Huck and was banged up by the right hand of Huck ...Povetkin looks like he needs to drop weight he was plump and bloated vs Huck...At this point I give the offensive edge to Razor but Povetkin showed good combo's in the fight before Huck....Right now I am leaning towards Razor
