A fight as close as Povetkin / Huck can't be considerd a robbery since it was a very close fight. The rounds where dominated by Povetkin until it was like 1 minute left in the round and then Huck exploded, And the way he exploded left onlookers thinking if Povetkin was really a deserving WBA champion. However all in all a close fight and a somewhat fair outcome can't really argue with that. Pacquiao Bradley played out similar but with less drama. On first look I didn't think it was a just decision but when I looked again with the commentators off ( HBO ) I thought that it was a close fight mainly because Pacquaio rested for 2 minutes every round and didn't really land much on Bradley. Even though Bradley didn't really hurt Paquiao he came back with good bodyshots and had a high workrate. Not a robbery and it was a close fight that could have gone either way. It's easy to fall into the delusion that Pacquiao was the clear winner when you have Lampley saying "Damn look at those calves on Pacquiao" Everytime Bradley landed on the body. Rios - Abril Haven't really watched the whole fight just watched a summary of it with Highlights. But what I saw from that fight was Rios blocking shots with his chin and that doesn't give you points. So in my opnion it's a easy choice, Rios - Abril hands down.
Abril won no less than 11 out of 12 rounds, it was a ****ing disgrace. Rios should rematch Abril at 140
Rios-Abril was really bad but Pac-Bradley was jaw droppingly awful. Pac seemed to treat it like a sparring session and should've been given a wide decision. No way was this a 'close fight that could've gone either way.' It was a ****ing robbery. (And I watched this silent without HBO's bollocks commentary.) They all pale into insignificance when compared to Campillo-Shuemenov II however.
Floyd is still doing fine, thanks. Rios vs Abril, closely followed by Pacquiao vs Bradley. Povetkin vs Huck doesn't belong here, it was a close fight.
My scores: 12-0 Abril over Rios, only a couple debatable rounds, this was a schooling which matches the 12-0 Chisora over Helenius 2011 Robbery of the Year 9-3 Pacquiao over Bradley, the first two were all Bradley in my opinion, third was close, and the last two or three were really close. I am one of few who think that Pacquiao dominated the middle rounds but very well may have appeared to lose the begging and last quarters of the fight from a couple of old guys' limited and obscured POV ringside angle. 6-6 Povetkin/Huck Draw, a couple of clear rounds for both and a bunch of close ones which can generally be summed up as "a motivated Huck impressed as he threw a lot of punches in there against the tired but bigger and more skilled Povetkin." No robbery here. I know I did a bad job of scoring when I thought Campillo only one by one point over Cloud upon live viewing. I apologize to Campillo.
