I remember everyone thought Lucas was going to steamroll Garcia, and man he put on a performance of a lifetime. That version of Swift beats current Davis who arguably lost to unheralded Lamont Roach.
I think Davis is ironically too swift for Danny (i always thought that was a stupid nickname given his cement feet). While Danny has the edge in experience, ring IQ, and counter punching with a pretty damn good chin, Davis' lateral movement and bazooka left hand would likely frustrate Danny who always had problems with good footwork and hand speed. Danny's best punch, the left hook, isn't easy to land on skilled southpaws due to the stance and Davis would be moving a lot making it even harder for the slow footed Danny to land a really big clean one. And while I said Danny has the chin advantage, Davis has the better defense, timing, and accuracy. I would say Davis takes a narrow decision, but he'd know he was in a fight and would get banged up or possibly dropped once.
