Can anybody think back to a year in recent times where we had this many punchers with one fight head turning ko's, looking to dominate their divisions?? Ggg , matthyse, stevenson and kovalov??

3/4 you named would be the same in most years but i dont remember besides heavyweights a time with such brute power in the lower divisions.
3/4(i dont count stevenson)could dominate their divisions for a long time
but come to think of it kovalev vs stevenson could be a *******!

Stephen Smith's shot last night must be up there there was skill and timing involved before landing that shot, not just pure strength in a lot of cases

Out of the 4 names mentioned in the original post the only one I can see dominating their division for a long time is ggg. Stevenson we all know is not a great boxer and I believe bellew will have the beating of him. Matthyse has already lost to 2 boys in the division and Alexander is not an elite fighter. After watching Kovalev last night I don't rate him as anything truly special to me he looked good but not great i still believe he's there to beat. I honestly feel that if froch stepped it to lh he would stop Kovalev within 6

Alexander is definately not an elite fighter he's not even in the top 5 in his weight class. Look who froch has fought and compare that to Kovalev, I know its a jump up in weight but come on why is everyone jumping on Kovalev cory he aint fought know one special himself yet.

    You ******
At welterweight in rankings it would be
    1. Mayweather
    2.Marquez
    3.Pac
    4.Bradley
    5.Alexander

Only other person that could beat Alexander is Thurman no one else beats him
Alexander schooled Maidana who gives everyone problems
You cant not be elite and do that

Been some fantastic one shot endings so far this year.

Anyone have any predictions lined up for any more before the year is out?
