I think it would make a difference Gaz, but it would have to contain a big domestic fight.
Froch isnt everyones cup of tea and Kessler is quite respectful, so I think the fight needs some more characters on the bill to help it sell.

    Froch-Kessler/ Bellew-Dawson double header?

As a boxing fan its hard to separate whats a PPV and whats a great fight, and vice versa.

A card with Froch vs Kessler plus Bellew vs perhaps Dawson for WBC would definitely be a PPV card.

There aren't many potential fights worth PPV, that one would be though.

Very hard to separate, ****ed up to think Sky can sell A-Force and John Ruiz to the general public but may even struggle to sell that double header!!!!

Prizefighter is a good thing for boxing. Anything which brings in new fans is essential, even if it's not for the serious fans.

I've said this many times about cricket. Purists hate T20 but as I'm a cricket fan, I couldn't hate on the format because it's brilliant in attracting non-cricket fans to cricket matches. You get lads in their 20s, who can't stand boring 5 day test matches, going along to T20 matches to have a pint and a laugh, and in a few years, they'll be fans watching The Ashes at Lords. That's the way sport works. You have to target the non-fans and make it appealing to them in order to expand the hardcore fan market.

Anything which brings in new fans is not a bad thing. I'm fine with people saying they don't enjoy Prizefighter but it has it's benefits. There's a reason why Sky want it.

You can't possibly think Haye vs Vitali is PPV worthy and that sky are going to embarrass themselves with that again?

Disagree. Both are still hardcore fan fights. Nobody casual is gunna pay for that.

I don't know anyone that has watched Prizefighter and became a boxing fan because of it, if anything its the other way around, they have watched that circus, for some unknown reason liked it and when it came to watching a proper card, they didn't like it because they thought it was too slow paced and didn't have the circus element.

These fan's don't care about the technical, tactical side of boxing, how many of these casual fans have got boxnation or would get boxnation because of prizefighter, my guess would be very few of them, if any at all?

Froch vs Kessler, SKY can have my money

If Haye gets a PPV date I will be streaming all night long. Sky and Haye won't get a penny from me, gratis all the way baby from my local kebab shop

I can see both sides, but could it be that after watching prizefighter the more casual fan decides to watch a bit more boxing but the match ups are very poor and therefore are boring anyway even to the hardcore fan.

I don't know, none of my mates are really boxing fans, but they love Bellew. Probably from when he kicked off with Clev on SSNews.
