What's up everyone? Made weight at 177 for the 2013 VA/NC Golden Gloves today. Got a first round bye as only 4 people showed up, so we are only fighting 2 times this weekend. Ready to claim my first state championship! Any last minute tips from my eastsiders would be appreciated. Letttsss work!

Just stay relaxed. Its just scored sparring is a good way to look at it.. also remember dont wait on your opponent and double up that jab and youll do great

im up in pa...the amature scene has really gone to **** over the past 15 years (when i first got into boxing). Now you have guys with less than 10 fights winning open golden glove championships who 20 years ago would not have won a tough man fight....sad...

Yeah dude, that's why we've had national champs (Trujillo and Hart) multiple times in the past few years.
