#1 Kid chocolate. Gets $450 000 career high payday in his last fight, refuses to fight Golovkin under the pretense of it not making financial sense. Last opponent of Golovkin got $600 000 for his performance, making the realistic purse for the kid in the area of $1000000. Turned down the fight against his mandatory - Matt Korobov, missing out on another career high payday. "I would like to thank Al Haymon".

#2 Danny Garcia

Proving all his doubters wrong by fighting and soundly beating the machine, Garcia went on to take a fight against Herrera, in which he was gifted a decision. He immediately went on to redeem himself against a man that had no business being in that weight class, let alone in that fight. A true fearless warrior that seeks no easy way, with his gentile father providing words of wisdom for the masses. He, too, would like to thank Al Haymon

#3 Adonis Stevenson. The lineal champion that carried his heavy hands from his previous occupation to boxing, was at one point THE man in the division. Taking offense to Kovalev calling him a piece of ****, he promptly did what any tough guy in his situation would do: Switched to a different network, making the fight between the two nearly impossible. Following months of negotiations with a youthful Bhop, who's age is only given away by his ridiculous senior citizen socks, Stevenson made it a point to emphasize that he is in fact the king and the A side, which led to Bhop going after Kovalev and getting soundly beaten. Now that Kovalev holds 3 out of the 4 somewhat meaningful belts, Stevenson decided to hissy fit his way in the negotiations with the last credible opponent that was not nicknamed the Krusher, i.e Pascal. In a true manner of "Mr Steal yo Girl", Kovalev went on to secure a fight with Pascal, leaving Stivenson reminiscent of a former beauty queen that was diagnosed with chlamydia in her senior year.

Good list. But you should have mentioned Floyd's disgraceful and cowardly response to his WBC mandatory this past year: "He can have my belt."

 

hate not picking Danny Garcia but Kid Chicken was worse.

 

Don't forget Stevenson.

He ducked Kovalev, Hopkins and Pascal in 2014.

1. Stevenson
-175lb lineal champ, openly runs from #1 challenger/people's champ Kovalev by any means possible. Generally not a good person. Excessive celebration. "SHOOOOOOOOOOWTIME, baybeeee!" Fights only twice. ducked in 2014: Kovalev, Hopkins, Pascal. P4P Champ at disgracing boxing.

2. Garcia
-140lb lineal champ. Goes for a showcase/tune-up fight with Herrera, which was sort of excusable. Lost but got the decision (not his fault). Refused to acknowledge that it was questionable/offer a rematch (his fault). Fought Rod Salka which was actually unethical and should probably be considered assault. Has an annoying dad. Excessive wearing of sunglasses indoors.

3. LSC
-Has so much potential and does so little. Openly avoiding Rigondeaux, jumping up to 126 for an admittedly exciting fight with Mares. This will be his first fight against anybody remotely significant. Hasn't looked very good at 122, assuming he'll look worse at 126.

4. Quillin
-Looked like shiit against Rosado and then....does nothing. Embarrassing conduct in the Korobov situation.

On the bubble:

Ward
-168lb lineal champ. Says he's open to fighting while suing his promoter for not promoting him. Gets no fights. Loses. Tries the lawsuit AGAIN. Might not be totally his fault but there's a lot about Ward that suggests he's totally fine with not fighting any more than he absolutely has to.

Floyd
-152lb lineal champ. Chooses to fight a lower-top-10 fighter, which was excusable because he had a title and was coming off a marketable, exciting win. Comes away with a rather generous victory for a guy who hardly did anything for half the fight. In spite of multiple other, better options, gives the rematch. Semi-excusable because he sort of got showed up the first time. The gloves thing was a biitch move, though, as is the constant ducking of Pacquiao and saying dumb shiit like "To where as..." Tasteless public speaking on the Ray Rice situation. Lies regarding All-Access/Mayweather Gym. Also an excessive indoor sunglasses offender.

 

Sure same time I got these pictures in my head when a 40+ year old morales gave him a beating.

If Maidana fought Manny he would get badly hurt. Ofcourse everyone got a punches chance

Excellent list. I'd add Adonis Stevenson backing out of an agreement to fight Sergey Kovalev, switching networks and then ducking a fifty year old Hopkins.

Andre Ward who spent the entire year out because he was being a baby whining about his promoter only getting him multi million dollar paydays.

Tyson Fury, for canceling that two fights in a row at the last minute.

Adrien Broner, for taking some of the softest fights he could find after that embarrassing loss to Maidana.

 

Faking family issues? His uncle was supposibly close to death and has since died
