Why are guys like you and Herol only interested in the same arguments over and over.

Do you really think any new ground is going to be covered. These are the counters you have probably seen thousands of times...it's boring and routine, and you will just respond with the same garbage like it's earth shaking news we never heard before:

-Ward previously rejected an offer to face Golovkin
-Golovkin said 154-168 years ago, times change.
-Golovkin was not a Super Middle Champion, so Canelo analogy is not the same.
-Ward couldn't even make 168 anymore and lost all of his titles, so it's all a bunch of big nothing.

And let's put the cherry on top:

-Ward did in fact low blow Kovalev

Ward rejected the 164 50/50 offer. Ward said 168, GGG said 164. Ward said FU and went on to beat the **** out of GGG's bigger bro, Kovalev.

Times change? So when did the time change?? You do realize that even as of 2017 GGG was still talking about fighting Floyd at 154, right?

Canelo vacated his MW WBC title that he won at 155 (Weight was Cotto's demand), and Challenegd GGG for a Non-Title fight at 155.

Even more of a reason to believe that Golovkin's 164 challenge was anything but serious.

Sure, he may have landed some border line shots, maybe one or two on the lower side.. Kovalev STILL got his brain rattled, was chicken dancing, was crying to the ref, and folded in half. Looks and sounds like an ass kicking to me.

Sorry bud, but Kovalev is certainly not a great boxer and Ward ate that jab all night long in the first fight. If you cant deal with a 1-2 puncher that fights in straight lines... you dont stand a chance with GGG's subtlety and craft.

Pretty easy fight and thats why he's in retirement now.

It would be more competitive that people think but in the end it's a bad matchup for GGg

To my knowledge GGG has never ventured to smw. Hard to say when someone hasn't fought at a weight. Sometimes it just doesn't work when fighters move up or down a division

Golovkin apparently thought so too, so I'd have to go along with that sentiment.

Did he think that too? Based on what? Ward being out of boxing for a couple of year and returning as a LtHW?

Ward wanted a meet at 168, but the answer from GGG:s team was that it would have to take place at 164.

So? Meeting halfway is a crazy idea? What happened when they sat down and asked Ward about the fight? Do you know Ward's answer? We all do....but do you?

I could see if G moved up to 168. Guys in 2 diffrent divisions not fighting is kind difficult to call ducking or avoiding. I'm of the opinion, G would need to load his gloves to fight Ward.

Ward .. as GGGs never felt the need to juice up & try a new weight.. he knows he's a MW. I believe he's mostly natural too. He's certainly not the juicer that ward or Canelo are.. those two seemed to get more powerful as they weight jumped.. Ward looked a different ****ing animal in the Kovalev II fight.. & Canelos taking juicing to whole new levels

I agree with this. Ward is just under rated on here.
