[yt]PuJ3_kLQi7E[/yt] [yt]mrFW5qOSdDU[/yt] [yt]wyKgS3rTY3k[/yt] [yt]eb-vD4c7tpY[/yt] Joyce with also another victory over Majidov..
Not in boxing, yet, they just didn't qualify anyone at super heavy. Banabin, who beat Joyce in last year's WSB, injured himself in the penultimate qualifier
Joyce is chinny, and this field can punch. There are better fighter and punchers than Kuzmin and Beguerni in this tournament. Joyce is tall and can box, but there are quite a few fighters his height or taller. Pro heavyweight boxing doesn't need a glass jaw type winning gold in the Olympics.
You're welcome. Predicting here is not easy, as there are some emerging talents, and the draw can pit two excellent fighters vs each other early. Therefore I'll have to wait for the draw. For example, I think Dychko and Yoga will medal, but if they draw each other in round on or two, one will not! On pro potential, I see them as follows: 1. Hrgovic - The best all around talent. Power, skills, speed, chin, heart, etc.. Likely to go pro. 2. Dychko - Such height and mobility rarely go together. Solid power, with a build that can add more muscle and weight. 3. Yoka - Perhaps the most skilled on offense, the Frenchman has suspect whiskers for the pro game. Likely to go pro. 4. Majidov - He was #1 in the world for a while. HE seems to have regressed just a bit. But oh what power. Good skills. 5. Pero - A fast Cuban Southpaw. 6. Joyce - Good skills and size. Too chinny for the pro's. Will likely go pro. 7 Jalolov - He's only 22, but on the rise. If Dychko doesn't go pro, he might The Russians are not in this field. The best is likely Omarov. Omarov -the 6'5" southpaw has beaten Cammarealle and Kuzman in the past. Beat USA's best in Breazeale in the Olympics then lost a close one 17-14 to Majidov in the London games
Joyce is way better than Pero now, beaten him before too. Pero loses to all the top guys, got knocked out by GB's #2 Frazer Clarke in the WSB final and doesn't have enough power or strength. Arkhypenko, who only weighs about 215lbs also beat Pero in WSB this season. Joyce is in the best form of his career, he hasn't been stopped since 2013 and has improved his defense. Just beat Majidov in April and took his shots fine. It's super heavyweight boxing, nearly everyone gets stopped at some points, he got hit more easily back then. His stamina is top notch
Will bump this in 9 years when Nigel Paul KO's Joshua to unify the division and take the lineal crown.
