I think the rule in Kirk's is one challenge per person per day. not one challenge in general a day.

Even if that's the case there's no stacking of challenges. He would have to wait for the earlier challenge to pan out.

Yes. Foremanjab would have to wait for Stephens fight to be over before challenging the winner.

Any thoughts on the "earlier fights get priority" or "if the champ issues a challenge it has to be accepted by the person being challenged"?

I think everyone should challenge the Champion, not the Champion cherry picking 10 matches in one day, when you're the Champ, the challengers challenge you.:deal:

And yeah, one at a time. The earlier fights take priority.

If a challenge is made within 10 days, it stands... No minimum time period on next challenge.

Those are the rules in Kirk's.

    So say for example

I'm people champ, i pick Mousasi and Johnson.

UTF comes along and challenges my Mousasi pick with Weidman, the second that fight is over Pablinov can challenge my Johnson luck with Cormier.

If UTF comes along and challenges my Johnson pick, the Weidman fight is deemed irrelevant at that point.

but what if you had Cormier and I had Johnson and I challenged you (when you had the belt) with my Johnson pick before the card started. But someone had Green while you had Emmet, wouldnt it be fair for them to get the pripority ?

Yes, i can agree to those rules IF the champ is not allowed to challenge anyone, and can only be challenged, which is not the case here and is the case in Kirks.

Imo, the person trying to make that challenge would be doing a ***** move as your challenge is clearly stated.

As a friendly league we shouldn't aim to usurp other challenges.

That's why all we need is a rule for the maximum time between fight and challenge.

For example i can't pick Joshua over Wlad and no one gets a look in for 2 week as that's unfair.

All we need is a sensible time frame and a reasonable way if enforcing.

But with your example. If you've gone for Cormier over Johnson and someone comes along challenging an earlier pick, that person is a dick.

What's the fun in a champion not being allowed to challenge anyone?

I could be totally wrong here but i think @UnleashtheFURY only did that to keep people's champion an active thing.

    Otherwise i agree with you.

I think the problem is of say you have a sure thing in 10 days, say the Johnson fight and then the Miocic fight or whatever and you only pick those before anyone can challenge you.

That and I just figured that was how things were done. Looking at the rules of Kirks there wasn't anything in the fine print about champions not being allowed to issue challenges. Honestly a lot of the language in the rules for the peoples champions for Kirks seem pretty grey to me...

Though I'm down for our own variation. There's no need to copy Kirks 100%

Since we've done things this way for a month+ I think the way things have stuck should stand tonight and a consensus can be reached after tonight's card is over(it's already underway)
