I'm really divided on that fight. Holloway has developed into a very good fighter and is on a big roll but Aldo had one of the best, most disciplined performances of his career vs Edgar last time out. If that Aldo shows up he wins but father time might be catching up.

Yeah but Edgar isn't Holloway... Holloway can match Aldo in size, striking technique, power. I think this will largely be a kickboxing match, and I'm favoring the younger Holloway to come out on top. That said Aldo winning wouldn't be shocking in the least. He's had one bad night in the last decade, but this is probably his steepest test(striking wise) apart from McGregor.

Mcgregor's style was just Kryptonite for Aldo. I see Holloway as a more predictable, basic striker. While its a different style matchup from Edgar, Aldo looked as quick as ever and he didn't fade late in the fight like he normally had done for years. I think those snapping jabs are going to be very hard for Holloway to deal with we're also going to see more of the famous Aldo low kicks as he won't be as worried about the TD. Who knows though, I could be completely wrong and Aldo gets battered from pillar to post, that's what makes this fight so intriguing.

I really regret that pick... Had I know this was Beltrans 1st fight at Flyweight I wouldn't have gone with him. Props to Foremanjab for the slick pick. Glancing at their records Alcantra hadn't been in with anyone, where as Beltran is a multiple fight UFC vet with some decent wins.

I'm surprised so many are picking Aldo by KO, the guy hasn't had a legit finish in almost 5 years and Holloway has never been knocked out. This is almost certainly going the full 5 rounds.

Yet it took him 3 rounds to dispose of a badly weight drained Pettis
