GGG fighting 4 times Lomachenko fighting 4 times GGG-Jacobs Canelo-A good opponent (i seriously doubt they'd go for 2 liam smiths in a row) Joshua-Klitschko Thurman-Garcia Frampton-Santa Cruz Haye-Bellew Brook-Spence Jr Canelo-GGG Joshua-Ortiz (if joshua beats klitschko, end of 2017 says Eddie Hearn) 2 fights on that list will sell 80,000 seats on their side of the pond. If all goes to plan, 2017 could be a 'revival' of boxing. Any others I missed?
And Loma will be fighting 4 times as well. Hopefully he'll go and take over the 135lb division and put on some more great performances.
Remember what was said about this year? All the fights that "would" happen, but almost none actually did.
I know Arum said that Loma wants to fight 4 times, but did Loma actually say that himself (is there any source)?
Excited about these fights but politics could well get in the way... Maybe not a great fight but Degale vs Jack is a unification fight which will be important... If Degale wins he could well move up to LHW and fight winner of Kovalev Ward II... Joshua vs Haye in September maybe... Hopefully see a few of the Olympic boxers make their debuts as well... Should be an interesting year... I'm travelling USA for first 3 months so fingers crossed my trip can clash with some fights... Will be in Vegas for May, would love a big fight to be announced
No you're right but Egis said that he's trying to put Loma in late March or April. And from the sounds of it Egis might be on board with fighting some of the champs at 135. Even if it's not 3-4 fights Loma vs Garcia or Linares will be fun fights. http://www.junksite.com/lomachenko-being-positioned-three-four-fights-2017--111180
