Let's hope so. These two are taking belt miking, ( especially Wilder ) to a new level. Fans don't want to see a sparring session title fight where a tall big man faces a non-skilled, outside of the top ten ranked opponent by Ring Magazine standards who doesn't have much of a punchers chance and has already lost a few. It's damaging the game. By the end of 2017, I want to see two real heavyweight fights with Parker, Pulev, Povektin and Oritz getting title shots. Is that too much to ask?
Joshua is fighting the best heavyweight in the world who isn't Fury in only his 19th professional fight. You can't knock the guy for stepping up. Wilder on the other hand has had nearly 40 fights and has only fought ONE top 10 guy, and shows no sign of changing his ways.
Well Wilder should fight Tyson "Coke Head" Fury. It would be a step down from the easy opponents he is fighting now but it would be hilarious to see Fury to get knocked out so his European fans can cry. They call this guy the best ever because he beat a 40 year old shot Wlad. So wouldn't that mean Puritty, Sanders, and Brewster are better since they knocked out a prime one?
Joshua is ok he is fighting Wlad can't ask for more than that. Yeah Molina was poor choice but can't put him and Wilder in same sentence. Wilder fighting Wawrczik for his 5th VOLUNTARY defense is beyond pathetic. Molina, Arreola, Wawrczik are 3 of his 5 defenses. It's SAD
The two aren't comparable. Joshua in less than 20 pro fights is facing Wlad next and if he wins will have to fight either Ortiz or Pulev right after. Wilder could fill a soup kitchen with all the tomato cans he's knocked over and shows no sign of changing.
2017 is the year where it's all going to happen. Maybe if these imps on this forum had a track record for predictions their opinions would matter but they are mostly just idiot no life fanboys acting like children "are we there yet?"
