    I'm looking forward to the next UFC card. I think Werdum will really have a chance to show his improved striking ability.

    Unless Volkov tries to take him down I see this fight being a standing affair and Werdum has never been a natural striker but he has always had very good handspeed and athleticism with his high kicks.

    I think he'll have far too much for Volkov and will KO him in round 1.

    That being said I am quite excited for a new generation of HW guys coming through and it is realistic this could end up being like Reem and could be at the end of his time at the top.

    30-27 or 30-26 Zavurov. Really solid performance against a tough guy in Torres a longtime vet who usually always takes his opponent close even in defeat. Completely outclassed here tonight. Would like to see Zavurov in the UFC - but honestly Torres deserves another crack as well. 0-2 run against prime Volkmann and Guillard and getting cut is a bit cruel.

    Some background on this fight... Apparently it was the semi-final of a $1,000,000 Lightweight tournament that Road FC were having. That's pretty big money in MMA. Zavurov advances to the final and is 1 win away from a six figure payday! That certainly will put him on the UFC radar and I would be shocked if he wasn't signed off of that.
